No he wouldn't, I put him as the 7th defense men, because if he keeps playing like he is currently is now, that's where he will be if he makes the team.

I will add Drew Doughty simply because of his name, but Spurgeon definitely deserves to be on the team. I put no value on defensive skills on this team. All about offensive skill, which IMO is all that Team Canada should worry about.

The lines up aren't really set, just the players who made the team.

Braden Holtby is just a name. .909 Svg is simply not going to get you onto the team.

Putting no value in defense is a big risk to take. You need DFD in the team such as a Vlasic over Chabot

Points aren't a great way to evaluate defenders, and Subban isn't just supposed to be a point producer, he's a TWD and would easily make it over Barrie, who isn't great defensively over his career.

For that matter, Pietrangelo, Doughty, should both make it over Barrie.

If you're going to keep Holtby off the team, that's a prime example of recency bias, he's been one of the best goalies in the league over his career, he'd be a shoo-in to make it over Kuemper (LOL).

Since when does +/- matter in determining how good a player is?

I don't GAF about who has been better over their career. This isn't looking back and seeing who you would rather have over a 15 year Bases. This is about a 2 week tournament and you want the best right now. I'm looking at stats right now, who is playing the best hockey right now.
