I mean the value isnt too bad just the Bruins cant even add that many guys on the roster rn and def cant resign Zucc and Hayes, If you take out Zucc and Donato it would be tough for the Bruins to decline

I realize it was from December, but whether you like it or not the Bruins have been linked to Hayes.

They'll be linked to anyone whose a center and is available lol. The history between Boston and the Hayes family is well documented. Unless the two sides have kissed and made up, kevin isn't coming to boston. Even if they had, management knows the fans would be pissed.

I'll just say this, where there is smoke there's fire. Just remember Vesey had a chance to fulfill a life long dream of playing for Boston. While making his decision he spoke with the Hayes family... the rest is history

Well of course I know Kevin Hayes is from Boston, he sounds like a classical mass guy so no I'm not that stupid. I also know that other teams can certainly outbid the Bruins, who will certainly be cautious with the Rangers after the Rick Nash trade

The issue is the history between the Hayes family and the Bruins. Jimmy was chewed up and spit out by the fans/media because he sucked. Apparently he thought because he was from Boston that people would look past that. Anyways top that with the "rumors" that it was the Hayes family that convinced Vesey not to sign with Boston and that's why I don't see Hayes to Boston as a option.

Vesey just is so limited offensively and now even has a poor defensive game in my opinion. In fact, I hope we trade him. That is true, I just happen to like the Bruins more. But you are right and we need the ex rangers half of the 2012 defense core to win the cup they deserve
