Description
Ladd comes in as much needed Top 6 depth help. Boedker/Okposo/Perron are also possibilities. 6.25 is a slight overpayment, however likely required to entice him to sign in MTL.

Goligoski is a perfect Markov replacement for next season, next season's UFA D crop is relatively week, and we have no Markov replacement in the pipeline unless Beaulieu improves leaps and bounds.

    That's pretty short-sighted. At proven veteran with wheels and toughness for the league minimum? It's literally a win-win. At best he plays the 4th line and provides leadership and tenacious forechecking, at worst he goes to the AHL and costs us next to nothing.

    I agree on Brown,I like Andrew ladd and think Habs needs someone like him who has experience and can throw is body around , but i think habs should be focusing on getting a right winger because that side is really thin, might be a better idea to focus on ladd and a RW instead of a D ,, they can always work on something in the season or next year when Markov is gone or sign at rebate
