Those RFA seem just unfair and scream, offer sheets by other teams. Rasanen on the Leafs defence next year? C'mon.

The leafs trade needs alot of work, to trade Zaitsev’s contract you will need to give up more than Andreas and two 7th round picks. Yamamotto is not getting traded for that.

How bout EDM: Zaitsev,2nd,Johnsson,3rd,4th

Yah. I'm a big fan of Rasanen so I guess it's just bias. Probably should've been Ozhiganov or Rosen.

Too bad Rasanen was injured this year, it might have slowed his development. He's signed with his KHL club next year. If the Leafs are going to go "cheap" on defence next year both Rosen and Ozhiganov just might be counted on to be playing for the Leafs. Both at their age are at the point of showing if they are NHLers or not.
