Created by: MNBassman
Team: 2018-19 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 7, 2019
Published: Feb. 7, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I'm building this off the conversations TanSor, myself, and others have had in the other 2 Nashville scenarios.
Staal deal is a deadline deal, Granlund/Zuckder deal is a draft day/summer deal.

  1. Granlund, Mikael
  2. Zucker, Jason
Additional Details:
Very curious to hear people's value and need opinions on this! It's very difficult to figure out value because of Arvidsson's insanely team-friendly contract.
2.
MIN
  1. Ho-Sang, Joshua
  2. 2019 1st round pick (NYI)
NYI
  1. Staal, Eric
Additional Details:
This is the only scenario where I would consider acquiring Josh Ho-Sang...as a throw in on a deadline deal. He's basically a lotter ticket. IF (BIG if) he pans out...it's like hitting the lottery.
3.
MIN
  1. 2020 3rd round pick (WPG)
WPG
  1. Fehr, Eric
Additional Details:
IMO, Fehr's penalty killiing prowess alone make him (almost) worth a 3rd round pick. Because this pick is for 2020, that decreases its value...and it makes sense here (to me).

Yeah idk. I think the value is fair but I don’t think it’s something Nashville would do

I really like that Staal trade. Ho Sang is probably a bust, but it's a low risk high reward scenario for us.

As I said in a previous thread I'd rather use Granny to get a center (whether it's a prospect or a trade at the draft for a high pick), but I would absolutely love Arvidsson in a Wild sweater. I think RD is less of a priority than getting a young forward (such as Fiala), but I do like Fabro.

Arivdisson brings so much to the table with speed and his Goal scoring and his hand eye I would really like him on the Wild also and Fabbro has said he wants to go pro after the college year is done and I really like him as a Defenseman

As for Ho-Sang he could be a bust but like what you said he could turn out very good and he’s also Right handed
