Description
Logic/ Reasoning:

Panarin:
This year is a golden opportunity for Nashville to make a cup run. Adding Panarin to that lineup would put it on par with Winnipeg's forward group imo. Nashville has the defense edge imo and goaltending is roughly equal and very good for both teams. Poile has stated he is willing to make moves to make the team better and this would definitely be one. Considering Tolvanen is a top prospect, the first definitely needs to have conditions on it (fwiw, Tolvanen hasn't been as brilliant this year, still adjusting to NA game, but didn't have the best WJC. I don't think for a top 3 LW like Panarin he should be off limits in a trade when Nashville's window to win is now, but I know people will say it's an overpay).

Bobrovsky:
What florida needs to weigh is if moving Reimer (which probably won't be an easy deal to move later), Brassard (has had a equal/worse season than Boyle for better team so say roughly 2nd round pick value) and a 3rd round pick is worth the chance to sign Bobrovsky and get the 8th year. There's multiple protection's on Florida's end for the 2020 1st to avoid them getting bitten if he extends anyway. I don't see any way that Florida gives up any meaningful prospect (i.e. Borgstrom, Tippett, Denisenko, Hepponiemi, etc) or 2019 1st/2nd in a Bob deal. Just makes no sense. If they can move reimer's contract for equivalent of a 2nd and 3rd while getting the premier opportunity to sign Bob, plus only give up a first following year if he signs AND they make the playoffs, it'd be worth it.

Quick:
Iirc, Pierre LeBrun stated that Kings management was thinking of Turning over the goaltending reigns to Campbell/Petersen soon. Quick is also very good friends with Cam Atkinson and has Team USA experience with John Tortorella. His contract definitely worries me, as the term goes to his age 37/38 season and he has a significant injury history. He does have a very solid playoff history though which has to be a desire of Jarmo Kekalainen's. Thought Process was Kings get Reimer as a stop gap option during retool (2 years left after this year), as well as a project candidate in Milano who would help add some speed and skill to a Kings forward group that absolutely needs it. 1st round pick has conditions to prevent deal from horribly backfiring on CBJ due to injuries or whatnot. Added a 3rd since kings will be looking to recoup mid round picks as well.
*Also hoping Nelson Ayotte (CBJ High Performance Director) can help make Quick less injury prone. Ayotte joined CBJ before 16-17 season and has helped Bobrovsky avoid any injuries in the 2.5 years since through improved strength, conditioning and flexibility (which given his previous track record of injuries is very impressive).

Kiselevich:
Depth d man, TSN has him on their Trade bait board. Really one of the few 3rd pair guys who are left shot and UFA rentals on the market. Hasn't stuck in Panthers lineup so a project prospect in Collins + mid round pick should be adequate.

Duchene:
No secret CBJ need help down the middle. Duchene should absolutely be a target of the team both as a rental and long term piece. If it takes a first and second with no conditions and two B+/B prospects with legitimate NHL upside, so be it. Highly doubt Duchene goes the sign and trade route, that has basically never occurred in the salary cap era despite the media's insistence there's a chance it happens. Odds are he's moved as an elite rental similar to Panarin.

**off season note, dubinsky bought out in summer to add cap space to resign RFAs and keep Duchene.

He's 33 years old, has a 5.8 million cap hit, signed 5 more years, injury prone, -3.87 Goals saved above average this season... he's not an incredibly valuable asset such that he's warranting unprotected firsts and top prospects.

how many playoff rounds has Bob won, Zero? Quick is one of the best playoff goal tenders in the game. I would think you would want to make it out of the first round? IF Columbus wants to do that you don't protect the first round pick

Exactly, he’s a great playoff goaltender and that’s why you acquire him... if the team misses the playoffs it’s because either Quick sucked or got Hurt, neither of which would make him worth a first inside the top 10. If the team makes the playoffs or even finishes just outside the kings get a first round pick anywhere from 11-31 depending on how the season goes. The protection is literally just so Columbus doesn’t get totally screwed by a Quick injury/ poor regular season
