19-20 Dzingel and Pirri sign and trade for 2 dmen

Created by: SP17
Team: 2019-20 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 9, 2019
Published: Feb. 9, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Would love to add Stone of course but figured I'd leave him out for this because so many teams will be after him.

Would be nice to trade at least 4 of the 6 guys listed. The ones that stay can provide depth but I still think Gaudette should have 3rd line minutes and Mckewan and Dahlen deserve a look.

Honest question: why would the opposing teams want your depth players and at max a 2nd for one of their top prospects/first round pick in last few years. Because that is what most of them are outside of Murray

Specifically I'm thinking that Sutter or Goldobin would be close to enough for Roland McKeown. And then if Baerstchi is healthy him and a 2nd rounder might get you Fabbro. I don't think Timmons or Juulsen would happen but Colorado does have a lot of RHD, Nick Meloche would probably be a more reasonable guy to target there. It's more so a list of guys I think they should target and for the right dman pairing one of these guys possibly with a prospect or 2nd rounder would be worth it.

Sutter has literally negative value. Goldobin had done value. Baertschi is now injured

I said "if Baerstchi is healthy" so already addressed that fact. I think Sutter still has value he's one of the best PKers in the league. McKeown is 4th on the depth chart for defence in CAR behind Fleury, Fox, Bean and they have arguably the strongest right side in the league already on their roster so I don't think he has a tremendous amount of trade value himself. It's not like he's even a sure thing to be a bottom pairing NHL dman. His career probably ranges anywhere between AHL dman to borderline middle pair dman in the NHL.
