Description

TOR gets
- A top 10 offensive defenseman who is a powerplay nightmare with a killer point shot. Colorado retains an ELC sized amount of $$.
- A vet who can chip in here and there and has 50+ playoff game experience. Colorado retains pretty much 1/2 salary.
- A depth player that can skate and move the puck who's an RFA in the off-season and will possibly sign cheaper than what he's currently making.
- A 5th rounder to fill their 5th round void.

COL gets
- Affordable top 9 forward who can play on top lines with elite players
- An up and coming prospect who is projecting as a top 6 forward
- Bottom pairing right shot Dman to somewhat fill the Barrie void short-term
- 3rd Rounder

On the Col trade.. I wish we get that for what you are proposing.. but highly doubtful.

The Barrie trade isn't horrible, and he's been rumoured to T.O for a while. The Z trade is not gonna happen, leafs would have to send a 2nd or 3rd with Z to even get a 4th back

Hahaha I know, things can get heated on here. Also wasn't trying to be a d*ick about the Z trade, as a leaf fan I obviously want him gone, I just know there aren't many GM's stupid enough to trade for him (VAN, EDM, NYI seem the most likely IMO)

Zaitsev trade aint' happening but the Barrie trade is pretty decent. Maybe add another prospect or pick.
