I hope that's the case, which was why the Gardiner-Zaistev pairing worked so well but idk how much better Reilly will be in his own end this year.

Mikheyev looked good IMO. Seems to have good man strength in tight corners.</div></div>
I agree 100%, I honestly don't understand the hate on Marincin. Just because he looks pretty awkward out there I guess but he gets tons of shots off from the point and is pretty solid at defending the blue line, he's easily better than Ceci.

I think Dermott needs to be in the top 4 this year and he can play the right side too so him and Rielly would be perfect

And Muzzin-Barrie is the pairing that is going to be facing top lines

Looks okay, was pretty good on the PK yesterday and made some nice plays in the ozone to set up good chances. Looks like a 3rd liner IMO but nothing special.

Silfverberg? That's embarrassing to even say its arguable considering Willy is 1) better and 2) younger and 3) plays C and RW

Yeah it was a lot better that people give him credit for and he produced at a top 6 level at 5v5 and better than a lot of guys who most people think are stars. Other than his end of season all situations goal and point totals he had a solid year considering the circumstances

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>shmoeman</b></div><div>I suppose I was just generalizing leafs fans, it seems you have been a Nylander guy from the start so fair play to you.
As a Bruins fan ive always liked Nylander and thought he got far too much slack from TO and in the games I did watch, he looked more dynamic than his numbers but regardless I just cant put Nylander in over anyone in the top 9 (MAYBE over Rakell but thats tough)</div></div>
I would say majority of leafs fans love WIlly because he was the first of the young stars and it's mostly the guys that judge people on points that dislike him and hate that he waited till Dec 1 to get a fair contract . The only forward on this Swedish lineup that is 100% better is EP40 and maybe Backstrom but Willy is a C/RW so even that's tough.

Well I wouldn't say he had an amazing season but it after the first 7-10 games he was good and he was very good in the playoffs so.. either way he is still on the first or second line on the Swedish team..

Yeah man you really got me, I totally called for his head? Like what lol. He's easily a top 5 swedish forward and it has nothing to do me with me being a leaf fan, stop being so naive.

It's probably better for him to face easier competition if he's playing with Ceci considering how he fared at 5v5 last year with Hainsey (who is slightly better than Ceci)

Nylander is far better than both those guys, that's why..
And yeah Nylander is 100% better at 6.9m for 5 more years than Marner at 11m+ or whatever number Dreger is throwing around.
