There is no chance Marner gets traded before Nylander lol. That makes no sense.

Both Nutivarra and Anderson are controllable for CBJ for a total of six years. Nylander and Dermot total of ten controllable years, plus Bracco. So what are the better contracts? Debatable.
Leafs would gain for immediate NHL help and some cap benefit, but CBJ looks to win long term.

Nylander is far better than both those guys, that's why..

And yeah Nylander is 100% better at 6.9m for 5 more years than Marner at 11m+ or whatever number Dreger is throwing around.
