No thanks from the Leafs. Hutchinson would get the call up before that deal would ever happen. Simmonds for a 1st, prospect and a third might get that deal done though...Cheers.

Neither Sparks or Hutchinson is good enough for a playoff run if Andersen gets hurt.

Elliott has one playoff run in his career. One with the Blues. You may think he is an upgrade to Sparks and Hutch but I don't and not at the price of losing a great utility player in Brown.

The Leafs may have to trade Brown in the off-season, I get that. It is a cap league. If I were the Leafs and were thinking about a back up goalie it would be the Wings I would call over the Flyers. Just my opinion though...

That it's accurate. And that Elliott has proven time and again he cant even save on car insurance by switching to Geico, much less save a puck.

Lmao according to who, you? I bet you have watched him play maybe twice in his career.

Elliott has very serviceable numbers behind one of the worst ads in the league since joined the Flyers. His numbers are better Han Sparks who plays for one of the better teams in the league.

I've seen him play a few times. Both in STL and Calgary. Neither of which impressed me. I also am am not fond of Sparks, but he is a heck of a lot cheaper and just as good. Toronto may be one of the better teams in the league but only because the can score 3+ goals most games. It's not because they are an impenetrable wall on their back end. So that argument is irrelevant as they're defence isn't that good either.

It is not irrelevant at all ?. Good teams control the puck more and more than likely give up less scoring chances. The cheaper argument means nothing as Elliott is a UFA after this year. If Andersen goes down and you run Sparks or Hutchison in the playoffs, you are one of the easiest outs in the 1st round.
