Dumbest thing the Panthers (or any non contender can do) is trade for upcoming UFAs. Giving up good assets, why? And really take a look at Bobrovsky. He hasn't been that good this year. Do you really want to sign him long term?

makes no sense for the panthers to give up assets for panarin and bob if they are confident they can get them for free in the offseason
