You just can’t get McAvoy, at least not this year. He’s not eligible for an offer sheet so there’s really no reason to deal him. If you want to make a legit offer though, it starts with skjei, two prospects, and two first rounders, unprotected.

I mean they probably don’t want Lindgren back since they traded him for Nash...

That’s steep. I would do Skjei, Howden, Pionk, and a 2nd. That’s about as much as I would give up...

Lol get real tho. He’s not worth Skjei, two prospects, and two firsts.

Then you don’t want him that bad. Bruins don’t even consider that offer. It’s laughable to them.

4 years of team control for a 21 year old number one d man? He might be worth more, and they wouldn’t consider trading him for less

The fact you find that laughable shows how much you overvalue you’re players. Two young, cost controlled too 4 Dmen, a potential top 6 center (high end third line center/low end second line center is probably more realistic tho), and a likely very high second round pick. Cmon man

Lol maybe I’m wrong but I don’t see how he’s considered a number one d man yet. He’ll probably get there but...

    Here’s a counter offer then:

BOS receives: Kreider, Pionk, and a 2020 4th
    NYR recieves: McAvoy and Heinen

    Does that work?

Yes, you are delusional if you think the bruins would trade their number one d man. Either offer something that would make them consider it, or move on to another player that isn’t as good. He’ll probably be a ufa when he’s 30-32. The rangers can throw money at him then.

Cool. This is why 21 year old number one d men don’t get moved. It takes too much. Move along to a cheaper option

No. I’ll agree that you’re offer was absurd, as was your premise.

A 30 goal scorer with term and a top 4 d man AND a pick for a third liner and a top pairing D Man. What am I missing here?
