Laine and Connor get at least $1 million more then what you're offering. No way Myers signs for a $1 million less then what he's currently making now. Trouba gets at least $7 to $7.5 million long term.

connor and laine are great players and i would love to give them 8 yr deals at 6-10 M but both of them have been as consistant as the weather. especially laine, u just cant give laine 8-10 m when hes been playing like this. i know he has 3 goals in his last 2 but its a huge risk to take. (watch laine end up with 15 goals in the month of march and wins the conn smythe)

I get why you don't want to give the long contract when you aren't sure who is going to show up from night to night but I don't see the players taking the deal.
