Also a push from Bean. (Need to move some defensive pieces around, too much nhl level talent)

I know he’s mentioned above - but think Gauthier is making a push to be the most likely candidate. If he continues to develop his defensive game and his grit - his size and right hand shot make him an ideal lower cost roster player if Ferland leaves as UFA

There isn’t a replacement for Willie man...what an amazing player and person. I can not figure out why he wasn’t the captain last year for Peters. What a terrible decision...

Completely agree. Looks really good this season too! But one has to wonder how much longer unfortunately.
