I don't think trading McGinn is a good idea. Guy does a lot for the canes that the average fan might not see, but more importantly he has the trust of Brind'Amour. Hes more valuable to the canes than he is in a trade. Also not too hot on trading Faulk for Miller. Hes been playing on a line with Stamkos, and only has 35 pts in almost 60 games. not a terrible stat line, but not that good for playing on the top line on the best team in the league. I think Faulk has decent value. He is having a decent year defensively, first time hes had a positive plus minus higher than 1(+7). He is a right handed shot, and he still has 7 goals and 23 pts which isnt bad. plus I don't think Faulk is really needed in Tampa, with a already stacked d corp.

Fair points for sure! I was never very high on McGinn personally but I absolutely see your point. If it's not Faulk, I think 1 d-man will be moved in the off season for a forward. Who do you think would be most likely candidate to go would be and who would you like to see in a return?

I still think Faulk is the odd man out, Pesce is on too good of a deal and both him and Slavin are too valuable to expect them to get moved. DeHann and Hamilton were just acquired hard to move someone you just acquired. and I dont think TVR would get enough of a return. I think Faulk will likely get a first or a top 6 foward. someone in similar value to coyle. but possible could be part of a bigger deal to land a top line guy. I feel like management is gonna have to make a big move this offseason to go from a playoff team to a contender, assuming the canes make the playoffs
