That is a terrible deal for the Rangers. Nash is worth more than Eller and a 2nd. Especially with that much being retained.

Really? you must be getting 31 year old Nash confused with 24 year old Nash. He got 15 goals and 36 points last season, exactly one more goal then Dale Wiese and 2 more then Eller. Do you think he is going to get better? If the rangers were able to unload part of his 7.8 MIL contract do you think they would not grab it? And where would you put him next year? 1st line? You don't usually pay 2nd liners 7.8 Mil do you? You haven't really thought your post through have you?

He put up 36 points in only 60 games (0.6 ppg)... Weise was scoring at a 0.38 ppg pace and Eller was scoring on a 0.33 ppg pace. Also you're forgetting the fact that nash put up 41 goals just last year. Why don't you check your facts before posting idiotic comments buddy. You haven't really thought your post through, have you?

Jesus! do you two share the same basement? You just made my whole point. Now you are comparing 2014-15 season to 2016-17. I am not saying Nash is not a bad player but is he still Top line good? He is not. The Rangers have 18 Mil to Sign 16 Players for this season. Not a lot of room to go for UFA's with his salary on the books. and...if you give him the 22 Games you were crying about at .06 points per Game he would have ended up with another13 points, for a grand total of 49. WOW you got me.

@rharteveldt -- you should know by now that it's redundant to discuss hockey with a Habs fan, no matter your point he will oppose. Even if you are standing there telling him that Therrien is a poor bench boss just as he finishes up chirping good ole Michel with his fellow Frenchies, he will argue you just the same.
