Excited to see this kid, he needs to bulk up a good bit before he can make the jump to the NHL though.

yeah, I'm not sure why they signed him so quickly. Should have let him stay in school and develop another year.

A guy that did this well in his rookie year in the NCAA is undoubtedly ready for the AHL. I don't think this hurts his development, but I don't think it helps it. The only reason this makes sense is if Philly see's Farabee on their NHL roster in the very near future.
