The hawks need a true top three defender , Keith at this point in time is more of a number two or three , whose minutes should be limited to 18 to 22 minutes max per game . Adding a slow number 7 defender does not fix the defence . Hawks have already come out and all but said Boqvist will stay in junior at least one more year because his defensive game is a liability . This is not an upgraded hawks lineup this lineup struggles to get a wild card spot . Just because perlini scored 6 or 7 goals in ten games does not make him a star . Connolly is having a career year no need to over pay for a guy who has averaged 30 to 35 points per season .
