Kreider’s contract ends in 1 Year he still has yet to score 30 in any of his seasons (regardless if he was injured this year or not), Cizikas is a great defensive forward and just put up 20. His contract lasts another 3 or 4 seasons, I’d trade Kreider for him any day of the week.

You do realize that up until this season, his career high for points in a season was 29, which is nearly 10 points less then Kreider’s worst point total over a full season. Kreider is a 45-50 point top 6 player at WORST. Casey Cizikas is a 30 point bottom 6 player at BEST. Awful, awful trade. Something like Namestnikov for Cizikas would be fair value...

Kreider is accident prone and is gonna be a lot worse without Zucc, he’s also gonna demand a ton of money in 1 year. Cizikas is a great defensive center to build a 3rd or 4th line around, and he has a great contract!!

If your deadset on making that trade there’s gotta be something else coming back. A high pick or Kieffer Bellows. Kreider-Cizikas 1 for 1 is Hall-Larsson bad...
