that being said, here's the most accurate trade scenario I could think of with me and my buddies combined IQ of 20.

Oilers now have a playoff calibre d, and though they aren't there in terms of depth yet, I think if yamamoto and puljujarvi develop properly this team would definitely go somewhere.

I 100 percent agree he won’t be traded or will he ask to be. I think the Canes would be the perfect trade partner though. The only tweak I would make to your trade is to swap Teuvo with Aho. Aho and Puljujarvi are best friends and former line mates, he would bring the best out of Puljujarvi
