In general this whole thing is bad. We don't want to be TB regular season all stars and gets pounded into the boards on their way out the playoffs. You have to have grit on a team that has some skill. Gudbranson was a number 3 over all. Anyone who didn't think there was talent there is a moron.

The penguins don't benefit from anything here. The cap space doesn't mean anything unless you are going to replace what Gudbranson brings to the team.
