Description
Love it or hate it here is a way to keep both and still have some money left over. There are other players that we could add besides Acciari that should not be that expensive next year and beyond.

Maybe but there is already a re-build with the youth that was added this year plus with Parise/Suter they can't do a complete re-build.

I'm fine keeping Spurgeon, but where does Zucker fit into our future plans? I think Greenway should play on LW or C, not RW, and Zucker should purely play LW. That leaves one of them as the odd man out, and given we need youth that would mean Zucker. Kaprizov is hopefully coming in 2020/21 so that's yet another layer to the problem.

Yes I agree for the most part but Zucker has something we still need and that is speed. If we can trade him for a 1st or 2nd or a NHL level player who can help now I'm ok with that but speed can't be taught. Also remember 2 yrs ago now when Zucker scored 33, Dumba was healthy and Suter was able to be more offensive and did not have to just be the shutdown guy and could use he great stretch pass that he has.

Do we really have as big of a need for it? Fiala is very speedy and Donato is pretty fast. Zucker's speed is replaceable. Yeah I remember, he had a guy named Mikael Granlund passing him the puck who is no longer on the team. No way he scores that many again without a playmaker like Granny. Suter does have an awesome stretch pass, but sadly it's wasted a lot with Zucker since he fails to score on breakaways way more than he puts the puck in the net. Look, I like Zucker, but if we get a decent enough offer I'd be extremely happy moving him. I wouldn't settle for anything less than a 1st + a prospect if we're trading him for a pick. Otherwise, he'd be a nice throw-in to a bluckbuster to get a young stud right shot C/W. Toronto has two of them with Kapanen and Nylander and I think they almost have to trade one given their cap situation next year. The former is faster than Zucker IMO and the latter is pretty close.

Yea I can agree with that although if we are trading with Toronto I think I would like Marner more than the other 2.
