Game 7 Line Up

Description
Hymen has gone down a couple of times mid game due to what appears to be a lower body injury. By bumping him down the lineup it reduces his minutes a little and should be easier on his body. Moore gives 110% every shift. He is a faster, and more skilled version of Hyman which should help him pick up Mariner's stretch passes and battles in the corner.

Nylander seems to be floating the last few games with little effort or heart. He is pushed as 3rd C where he has been playing better compared to on the Wing. He gets Hyman and Ennis as wingers who are known to skate hard and battle for the puck making Nylanders job easier and allowing him to simplify his game by shooting more.

Marleau is slowing down and such is slotted on the 4th line. He still has some offensive danger to him and along with Browns speed and forecheck should offset Gautier (who needs to use his body more).

The powerplay has been designed for Muzzins Slapshot and to purposely get more shot towards Rask. Last game the Bruins scored to goals by taking low % shots on net. Marchands shot from the hasmark deflected off Hainsey and in. The second goal was purposely low on Anderson for a rebound which worked in Krug's favor. I love Marner, but the PK of the Bruins know he is never going to shoot and thus shut down the Powerplay almost every time. Slotting him as a RW on the 2nd unit allows for his stickhandling skills to be out to good use in making quick cross seam passes. And of course, a different set up from the Bruins perspective. Ennis has good hands in close, so I slotted him in Marners RD position to simply control the puck back to the point (he he enjoys shooting).

As a joke (but half serious) I took Gards out to avoid a repeat of last year. And Holl's size will be good against Boston. Plus Hainsey is responsible and will bail him out.

Thoughts?

Half serious to take Gardiner out? LOL... plus Hainsey/Holl is an awful pairing. Especially in playoffs

The offense is alright but probably not the time to test if moore can play top competition. I agree that should be the fourth line though... They should play between 0-3 minutes this game.

I believe Moore is ready. If not, he has two solid linemates to help him. Brown is one of the few who are actually actively throwing their weight around which I like, but he doesn't bump any of the other wingers unfortunately. If Gauthier could go back to winning 54-55% of faceoffs he should get more ice time. Until then, I agree with limited ice.

I am now 100% dead serious about leaving him out.
Air Bud could have a better +/- than Gardiner
