    Few Notes:

    1. No way is Hagelin going to get a paycut from last year

    2. There is no way Sather is breaking up our top 3 D. We have three strengths as a team which has driven this team to go deep in playoffs. 1. Henrik 2. Our top 3 Def which can shut down two lines. 3. Our speed on wings.

I hate Sather as a GM, but he does have strengths as a GM, one being getting rid of awful contracts. This could be the hardest yet but he somehow needs to get rid of Dan Boyle's contract.

I also believe MSL will come back for one more season, play on a vet min deal, with incentives, which will allow Sather to stretch cap.

    3. I do love Franson, this team has lacked a heavy shot from point. Boyle used to have it, but not anymore.

I fixed Hagelins paycut, a mistake on my part. and I can see Sather sacrificing Danny G. As much as I hate to say it

I feel Edmonton would add in Drai if Girardi is in play. Gives them the top 2 pairing D they've been yearning for IMO

That Edmonton trade is absolutely horrible for the Oilers. It makes as much sense as Marincin + Scrivens for Stepan and Nash.

    Giraldi???

Try Mcdonagh bud. There is zero chance they trade those two for that package.

Talbot/Giraldi is not getting you two high first round pick prospects. Talbot will get you no more than a 2nd round pick or a 3rd and a B prospect. It is a buyers market for goalies. Tons of available options. Talbot is a good goalie, but the market for him is low.
