Description

I don't follow the Preds super closely, so signings could very well be off.

I feel like they also have a realistically good shot at landing Duchene...whether or not they want to pay him for that term I don't know.

I personally don't think they will have a crazy busy off season beside perhaps one small trade to clear cap and potentially one bigger signing.

Duchene will command closer to 9M when all is said and done most likely. I think he reups in Columbus if they let Panarin/Bob walk.
Close though, would be a steal at 7.85 and he'd be great on Nashville.

Honestly, I could very well see him stay put in Columbus. After hearing his comments about the culture, and the way they've been playing, I think it is VERY likely. Columbus could also afford to pay him more like you mentioned.

I'm curious to see if Poile does indeed finally get Duchene. Time will tell.

While I like Craig Smith, people forget he makes the same amount of money as Arvidsson. He's a volume shooter and the Preds need true finishers. He's a name that hasn't popped up a ton here, but I think his potential to be moved is more than people realize.
