Seems Kadri issues aside would be worth a bit more than offered. The cap savings is welcomed I’d imagine the return not so much.

What are you looking for? Another pick? A prospect?

I’m not all all a Leafs fan. Hahahahaha. Just an outsiders opinion. I’d imagine most Leafs fans would prefer a late first or a second and a prospect. Again just an opinion. Moving him for pick(s) does create valuable cap space though. Curious what others think. Fully expecting the trade him for a top pair RD crew to arrive. That’s not realistic.

Agree that that Leafs have to move about 6.5m in net cap which you have done. Logic would say one of Kadri or Nylander is moved. Nylander would move to centre. Don't think Kapanen even signs that offer sheet....it might be long term too little money and heck even the lottery bound Oilers have cap issues.
Prwalker touched on the RD fantasy. The Leafs just don't have the cap to get one even in a lateral cap equal trade.

Fair enought. The best offer I could think of is those two picks and a prospect, but I'm not sure of Winnipeg's prospect pool, so I just went with the picks.

The offer sheet was the only issue that I had. That being said, I think Edmonton is in the market for young, fast wingers, and who wouldn't want the opportunity to play with Connor McDavid? Kapanen may sign a shorter term deal in that case (1-2 years), but I think it's possible.
