Description

I think Kap and AJ will both want bridge contracts, AJ a little shorter than Kap.

Mitch will want a 6 year deal so he can finish at the same time as Auston; it will be easier for him to compare points on their next contracts. I think Dubas will be fine with that if it means keeping him under 10.

Brown should be an easy trade, lots of teams need depth scoring.

Zaitsev is tricky, but Lou signed him! No reason he shouldn't be interested in bringing him over to the island, especially for a cheap AHL D price.

Matthews signed for 5, not 6.
I think Lou is pretty happy with his D, probably doesn't want to bring in that contract. use that extra cap space and give it to kapanen and marner, because they aren't signing those deals.

Well Lou needs to sign Eberle, Nelson, Lee, Beauvillier. It might mean downgrading Boychuk's 6M to something a bit cheaper. You're probably right though, I just figured if Zaitsev is getting moved, Lou is our best bet.
