As a ranger fan, I think Sutter and a 2nd might be a deal?

There is a really good chance thst the Canucks are on that list of 10. Also the Canucks are not going to pay you a second for a cap dump.

Quite honestly Shatty is not a cap dump. Hes still a decent 2nd pair guy. If Nucks only have to pay Shatty 4ish million for 2 more years I'd say that's decent value

What good is that to a rebuilding team?

Teams definitely on his list

1. Ottawa (Rebuilding Dumpster fire)
2. Detroit (Rebuilding + he'd have to move to detroit)
3. Edmonton (Dumpster fire)
4. Ducks (Rebuilding)
5. Wild (soon to be rebuilding)
6. LA Kings (Rebuilding)
7. Devils (Rebuilding and farther behind than NYR)
Probably on his list:
8. Buffalo (slightly better American version of Edmonton)
9. Arizona (Does anyone *really* want to get traded to Arizona?),
10. Philly or Montreal (fans are rabid animals)

Obviously this list could be 100% wrong, but I actually think Vancouver would be a place he wouldn't hate playing. Its a really nice town, great for kids and imagine being able to mentor a player like Quinn Hughes and play on the first PP unit. I like it. Rangers would also probably be willing to go 50% retained salary
