Love it. Not sure the trade is enough for PK, depends on their other moves. For instance, if they need the cap space to sign a guy like Duchene then maybe they get desperate to move PK, but it's not like they would give him away. I think they could get a better package from another team. They would also probably trade Zacha's RFA rights instead of signing him just to trade him but it all depends on when the deal happens.

PK will need a first, a decent to top prospect, and a roster player minimum

How many teams can give that up and fit his $9m cap hit that are in a position to win in the next 3 seasons? Could be a small trade market for Subban.

They are taking on the full salary, giving a 22yr old who averaged a point per game after coming back from injury. Zacha will sign a team friendly deal giving them cap relief. Slot him on the wing and he will score.

Carolina, Arizona depending on what they give up. Same can be said for many other teams. And David Poile is no ****. He's not gonna trade away PK for scraps

The two teams you named already have $27m+ committed to their defense in the 19-20 season, both top 3 in the league. Arizona is #1, and CAR is #3... but they're both going to add another $9m defensemen in PK Subban? It's going to be a smaller market than you think.

No, not unless theyre willing to trade one of their defensemen. There are always gonna be GMs out there that will swap a decent sized contract or two. Plus salary retention is also an option. It will be larger than you think.

This would be an absolute dynamite trade, but it probably won't happen. GMs will be willing to move stuff to get PK if he is truly available.
