McCann looks like a 30 goal scorer with Pitt. Doubt they move him for a 7D.

Calgary moving Gaudreau is just highly improbable and would require a massive overpay. Severson and Bratt is a good start, but it needs more quality players that I don't think NJ can afford to move.

That's a whole lot of quantity and not a lot of quality. The Flames don't need depth, they need 1-2 players to take them over the top. This deal would make more sense if it were the other way around, though it's still not nearly enough for a player of Gaudreau's ability.
