As much as Detroit needs to move Howard, Pittsburgh has to move Fleury and that hurts Detroit's options. I don't know that you get the deal above, Calgary just doesn't have the right pieces to move to Pittsburgh. Neither player your offering has much to actually give Pittsburgh. They are giving you a clear #1 goalie for your team and a 20-30 goal scorer. They might actually ask for Bennett, however, that only happens if they know they can resign him next season as well. If they wont have the money to sign him, they might have you add another 2nd round pick, probably Florida's. Not a bad idea though, Fleury will be on the move.

I personally like this trade, but Pens won´t pass Hornqvist, so instead of Hornqvist, go with rights for Beau Bennett, who can be great addition to the young team and you could actually keep Bouma and instead of him add some prospect defender. Instead of this small thing, the lineup looks pretty good and realistic. Good job!

Giving up the 6th overall still may not be appealing to the Flames. The Pens DO NOT have to move Fleury this season. And next year in an expansion draft, he may not be one of two goalies selected.
Calgary probably think they can solve the goaltending short term without giving a sixth overall.
