If Marner got offer sheeted

Description
There are some minor issues with this idea, but the bottom line is:

Dubas needs to play hardball with Mitch to stay under the cap. Either Mitch takes a team friendly deal (Less than 10.5) or you let him get offer sheeted.

If Mitch accepted an offer sheet from any team, the Leafs could take the 4 1st rounders and trade them for another star player at a cheaper contract.

Or you can sign Jeff Skinner who was at one time rumoured to want to sign with Toronto.

Trouba was just a bonus.

Vancouver is not ready to make a move on a player like Mitch. They need the 1st rounders to build there team. Carolina or NYI. Will be the ones looking to do that.

I watched skinner quite a bit. He isn’t what Toronto needs. Pretty one demensional.
