Team: 2019-20 Chicago Blackhawks
Team Explanation
2019-20 will be our last year of sucking! In 2020 we'll have Boqvist, Joki, Krys, Mitchell, and Beaudin all ready to go so Krys or Mitchell becomes expendable. Preferably Mitchell because we need lefties.

Caufield enters the picture next year along with Boqvist. Entwistle, the Rebels, Kurashev, Kubalik, and co. come up from the A in 2 years too.

Dahlstrom sucks. Gus could be played as a forward because he has 0 defensive ability, Forsling is redundant behind Keith, Murphy, and Seabs. Koekoek is meh.

Anisimov can hang out in Florida with Quenneville.

Kevin Hayes has a contract that pays him well for one year and Chicago has an agreement with Hayes that if they aren't in a playoff spot by TDL he gets traded to top 5 team.

If you want Panarin, you should've kept your old coach

Well obviously he's a top 3 talent in the draft, so #3 ?

Maybe this is just me being a biased Rangers' fan, but I'd be very surprised to see Panarin signing with anyone besides the Panthers or Rangers

I'm realizing as I look at our prospect pool, we have to choose either Panarin or Kubalik/Kurashev/Reese/Hagel

Honestly I see Caufield being the Wahlstrom of this year's draft. Super hyped up, but a few months after the draft everyone will realize that, despite definitely being a 1st round talent, he had no business being a predicted top 10 pick.

Or he could be Johnny hockey and looked past because of his size and fall back to where he was originally protected. Actually really interested to see where he gets drafted. Dream scenario is sabres draft him late teens.

This made me throw up in my mouth. Hayes and Stralman on ONE YEAR DEALS? Why would they ever sign those?? And trading Saad for a 2nd? This is absolute trash, even without considering that you plan on picking a Caufield.

Already hearing that Detroit has strong interest in Cole Caufield with their #6 pick, So Detroit trades up with the Hawks for their #3 pick and takes Byram and the Hawks take Caufield at #6 with the Detroit pick.
