Wow that’s actually a pretty accurate deal from a leafs fan. I think you could even take the third out.

Agree, I been proposing Nylander/Kadri for Severson/Zacha/2nd. Think a trade with the devils makes the most amount of sense for asset/financial purposes

I also agree, I’ve seen your deal I liked it too, this was just a slight spin. I like Coleman bit more than zacha and kadri more than Nylander.

It’s an interesting idea. I still think dubas and co really value Nylander. Therefore if he is traded it will be for more value, otherwise leafs won’t think it’s worth it. My point is I don’t think dubas pulls the trigger on this one, even though I think it’s close to fair. Imagine Nylander goes and puts up 80 points with hischer and hall. The trade will look kinda bad

Would you consider: Hall + Severson for Marner & Zaitsev?

I’m not trading Naz in that deal because rn Zacha hasn’t proved anything yet as he was projected to be. We also have some of those types of player who I think will have a chance to crack the opening day roster because of injuries and player losses in the offseason season.

I think there is some basis for a trade here, I just love Marner so I probably over value him and say no

At least it will make the Leafs keeping all their players and getting a top D and not downgrading too much on the wing.

Yes but Marner is at a level with elite players, Nylander and kap aren’t there and won’t quite get there. I would rather see one of them go for an improved D. Zaitsev had a bad year, improved in the playoffs. His value is depressed right now and good asset management would be to keep him and see if it improves before thoughts of trading him.
Therefore my original deal takes that into account.
Again this is all just my opinion not necessarily everyone else’s view
