Hughes is undoubtably number 1. First of all I understand I dominate which he plays with men but in this league you can’t hold the puck for 20 seconds. It’s smaller ice in the NHL and Hughes excels with that. He is the perfect player for NJ so NJ is taking Hughes is solidify the top 6 Centres for 10+ years. Kakko will be Elite but not as good. With personal bias outta the way of Kakko is better he’d be ranked higher than Hughes but in reality he’s not.

I was actually team kakko originally but I still always thought Hughes was better and I would love Kakko at 2 so I was wishing Chicago got 1 and NJ got 2 . I've always liked Jack and always thought he was better and still do. Is it close? With Kakko playing like this of course but Hughes will go 1 respectively. Love the rivalry though.
