VAN decline, Backes would never waive for Vancouver either.

Edm and Van have no reason to make those trades

Carlo declines easily, and McAvoy already said he isn’t signing long term.

Pretty sure Backes doesn’t have a NMC after July 1, not sure Vancouver takes that though.

In order to sign Panarin to that length, Boston would need to do a sign and trade.

Even then it's still 7 years? To get Panarin at 8 years the deal would've had to been done at the Trade Deadline. Not now. Just like Mark Stone with Vegas.

Only 7 years, And Panarin and Bobrovsky are South Florida bound. Bobrovsky is looking at Condo's where Panarin is living now.

Where did he say he wouldn't sign long term, and with carlo, I think I'm a little on the low end (I'll edit to 4), but defensive defensemen don't make a lot of money. Check out the article from the athletic (3 free articles if you get the app) https://theathletic.com/865378/2019/03/13/brandon-carlo-is-the-most-boring-defenseman-in-the-league-and-thats-a-good-thing/

It says the max he'll probably is probably "$4 million with term"

Nope. Carlo signs a 4 mil x 3 bridge or his AAV doesn't go below 5.

Bob McKenzie said it in a podcast. McAvoy already turned down a long term extension from the bruins, he reportedly wants to take a bridge deal and bet on himself.

Ah thanks, that's interesting. I hope that's not the case!
