What is the goal of this offseason for you? To put us back into the middle of the pack with no 1st round pick next year? Well that’s just what you accomplished. If bob and bread leave there’s no reason to sign Duchene and give up our 2020 1st, Hayes isn’t a number 1 center and probably doesn’t sign with us knowing we’re going to be a bottom team in the league unless Merzlikins and Korpisalo turn into gods all of a sudden and play as well, or better then bob did(That’s not likely). I don’t see us going with 3 goalies next year so Kinkaid can go, opening up enough cap room to keep Dubinsky and not have to buy him out. Even with the signings you’ve made. I can’t see Wennberg back on this team, he needs a fresh start even though we’ll get nothing for him.

Your argument to not sign Duchene who would most agree is a top 50 if not top 30 player in the league is that we lose our 2020 first rounder? So to pick a guy in the 10-20 range who may or may not make it to the league by 2022 and could be an impact player by 2025 is more valuable than Duchene? I don't think I need to even respond further after reading that.
