Description
We wont get Panarin but get pure sniper to play with Barzal. Johansson and Connelly both have history with Trotz so natural fits and deals dont handcuff us long term. Trade with MON allows them to bring hometown boy back and top pair LD they desperately need. Beau doesn't fit Trotz style and will do great playing more open style. We get good C prospect and solid top 6 wing. Send Greiss anywhere that needs solid backup because Lehner is the man now.

Naah, doesn't work. I'm about $2M over, or $1M over if I pay Marner what he's really worth. And I don't think that there's any chance Lou would retain $2M on Bailey for the balance of his contract.

So how about Nylander, Kap and Zaitzev for Bailey, Hickey and Mayfield? There is your $2m and you get LD protection since you probably gonna lose Gardiner too.

in my armchair roster I just offersheeted Kapanen at 4 m x 5 years which would probably make the leafs walk away . If they match , I'll just send 3.75 x 5 to Johnsson instead smile

Oh, we expected to lose Gardiner. That's why we traded for Muzzin. But we don't really need a LhD right now because we think Dermott will be fine.
