I thought Polak was very steady in the playoffs staying home while Heiskanen did his thing, my guess is they bring him back

This is a little different than a lot of the Stars’ ones I’ve seen. Nice work changing it up. But why buyout Hanzal? Most likely he will be on LTIR, which would save Dallas $2Mil toward the cap.

Polak would probably be the better and even cheaper right-handed solution than Hainsey. Plus he's already familiar with the Stars organisation an Miro. I like the additions of Johansson and Lovejoy too as depth, but I wouldn't trade for Zucker and put Dickinson on the 4th line. He might be better and more effective on the wing on the 2nd oder 3rd line. Plus in Comeau we would have a pretty expensive scratch every night and we would miss him on the PK. So maybe trade Val for a solid 3rd or 4th line centre besides Faksa.
