DeMelo is bottom pairing Dman. Why is everybody so obsessed with him other than 900k?

Because he is a decent RHD that the leafs could use badly, and he's at a good cost

Decent bottom pairing guys are everywhere. Leafs need and want someone that good and can be top pairing Dman like Hamonic or Larsson.
