Once the season starts, you have to re-enter that draft. If this contract was signed between July-September, it would make perfect sense. However the contract was not. I know what I am talking about. I would really like someone who is knowledgeable about the rules.
Because Bergmann's a draft-related unrestricted free agent. He doesn't qualify for the draft anymore, so now he can sign with whichever team he wants, whenever he wants.

Which brings it back to Elite Prospects ****ing up. They have him listed as an upcoming Draft Eligible Prospect for 2019. I Understand now
