Im unsure why people keep putting Lindblom on the right side. I'm also unsure as to why the understanding isn't there that Hayes was signed as the 2C in order to push Patrick down in a 3C role to alleviate his responsibilities and give favorable matchups.

I also dont understand why some fans are having any of the kids penciled in for opening night (Ratcliffe). Odds are Frost, Farabee, and Ratcliffe will be in the A come opening night, they would have to severely beat out several vets already on the team to displace them. I know everything is earned, but all things equal, Id bet on a player that already has the NHL experience.

So let me get this straight, of all the changes I built in here, you're bothered by:
1) Being concerned over Lindblom getting moved on his offwing to accommodate the addition of 3 forwards so that they can play where they're comfortable is laughable.
2) Hockey isn't a 1st line, 2nd line, 3rd line sport. Every coach plays matchups and if you want to alleviate the burden on Patrick, playing him with two offensively gifted wingers is a good way to do it. Switch the line order. It doesn't matter in the slightest.
3) As far as Radcliffe goes, if you watch him in juniors, the upside he brings currently in a 6'5" frame is far greater than anything Raffl can contribute. Maybe he does go to the minors, but I'd rather have the guys that can make a greater potential impact considering all other moves are to finish a rebuild

I like Ratcliffe just like you do, but playing him on the fourth line for 6-8 minutes per game will do nothing for his development. In the AHL, he will get more minutes and be used in multiple situations ie PP. I'd rather see him get more minutes to help him get used to the faster pace of the game.
