I don't think the Ducks are tying to move Perry to be in a similar situation. So that's doubtful.

Habs also say no because too much salary to take on (even though it's 2 years) for a totally useless player. He's no better than anybody we have plus if we need an overpaid LD then we have Alzner on reserve for that. Don't think Puljujarvi is enough of an immediate impact to justify that.

If the ducks actually consider that Edmonton would have to add more. Yes Perry has a 8.625 but its only for 2 more years where Lucic is at 4 or 5 (Can’t remember)
