Sorry, but no to both trades with the Avs.

Why? He can be 2nd liner which is something you need, he’s on a great deal and the only reason why he didn’t have lots of points was because tavares came here. The season right before he got here he scored 30 goals (Something else you need). i think its fair and i’m willing to drop the 2nd to a 3rd and a 4th.

The Avs would have no interest in trading Compher, the kid does everything the right way and is only going to grow. That's not saying Kadri isn't useful by a long chalk. It isn't the smart thing for the Avs to do. If I was sending any RFA centre it would be Kerfoot, decent little player creatively but does get knocked about a bit which probably would appeal less to TOR. JT does get knocked over but that's because he plays 'in yer face' hockey. Every team needs some grit and sandpaper players and JT is one of the few they have, plus growing this year, and have you seen him on the PK? Those are probably all the things that would appeal to TOR which are also the reasons why the Avs would want to keep him. Whether it's fair value or not then yes it probably is as a mock transaction value wise but would the Avs do it....nope! Because they don't need to.

Marleau I wouldn't want unless in a bigger package and knew I could flip him back to San Jose or somewhere for a pick.

Okay fair enough. I’m down to do a Naz for Kerfoot if he comes with a reasonable extension
