Easy no for the Isles. They do not need to move Leddy, they only will in a trade that makes sense and that is a Top6 wing. Shaw is a 3rd line player, a good one but not why you move leddy.

Disagree, shaw is one of the few special players in the league where he is so versatile and can play on any line and not stand out. He played on the top line with toews in chicago and can play on the top line in NYI with Barzal and would be able to keep up and put in points 47 points in 63 games last year. Shaw is also the perfect kind of player you want in the playoffs and i would hate to lose him however if it means bringing leddy back i would do it and the value is just about there
