According to Craig Custance Trouba is linked to the Flyers, Lighting Red Wings and Panthers no mention of him being interested at all in the Rangers. So not happening.

They want to clear Turris deal off the books to get Duchene signed. Kreider is worth a prospect plus the pick plus more if he extends. Howden would be the 3C when Bonino contract is up.

Bob McKenzie also said that Detroit and Florida are the supposed front runner for Trouba as well, Custance just talked to his agent Kurt Overhardt there in Detroit. And he said those were the 4 teams that Jacob was most interested in. And the ones he would most likely do a sign and trade with. Just reported what he said.

Wouldn’t doubt he’s interested in going there and makes sense if he did. Rebuild in NY and they really want to strengthen the d Corp so will be pressing hard for Trouba. That’s why I add him in to my bunch of moves
