With that offer they'd have to at least consider it, but I can't see Marchand having any interest in moving to Edmonton

Not unless they make a couple other moves to make him want to move. Playing with McDavid is a hell of a sales pitch, but I think they still need a piece defensively and still need to work out their goaltending conundrum.
