Description

Oilers get a dynamic young winger in Ehlers with the same cap hit For 6 more years as opposed to RNH’s 2 along with a more proven younger prospect in Roslovic along with the 20th pick and a 3rd next year.

With the 8th and 20th pick they flip that to Florida for Trockek and the 12th overall pick and taking Reimers contract back.

Ottawa trade allows Gets them a good prospect winger in Yamamoto, 2nd round pick and $1.5M retained. It might not be enough for Ottawa to take but it’s an idea.

In the end the Oilers have a pretty solid Top 6 and a D core that if healthy should be stable enough to atleast make playoffs
