Description

Assuming Allen requests a trade, I think Armstrong will find a suitor. Not sure where he goes, but without another small piece like Fabbri, Allen’s value is a 4th without retained salary, a 3rd with, and a second with retained salary and an additional piece with possible upside. His cap is decently high and his stock is very low. If Allen stays, Fabbri is traded or is left unsigned. That frees up 3mil from Elliott + Fabbri and allows the Blues to stay under the cap even with Allen’s cap hit. The team should not have cap issues this year. In 2020. A whole different story....

Binnington has more leverage now then he will ever have. I think he goes for at least 5x5.

I think Edmunson get some kind a bridge deal.

The Allen trade seems reasonable to me.

Binnington can stay a RFA if signed for one year. More of a show me contract. Show if he can preform throughout a full season, then sign long term. Matt Murray won two cups and makes 3.75mil. I think he is Binnington’s only comparable.
